1. Horatio just turned 15 monthes. He suppose to got his third immunisation last Friday. However, certain events postponed his fate of facing the nightmarish jab.
And this event, to my point of view, was simply the nurse's overreacting.
Horatio had a bit of redness in his right ear, after just recovering from a mild cold. It was okay. He was still very energitic and running around and everything, doing what a baby do best. When the nurse read out loud that his temperature was 37.2C, I wasn't even flinched. What? 37.2 C was normal to Horatio. He had just running around in the medical centre's hallway for at least good 20 minutes and playing with varity of patients in there.
But no no no, the nurse seemed more worry than I do, she immediately rush to Horatio's GP, saying the baby's temperature was way too high (??!!? to my knowledge babies' body temperature is a bit higher than adult like you and I. WAY too high? What reference are you base this on? Babies from Pluto??), and eventually managing to presuade the GP to postpone Horatio's immunisation to the 'NEXT TIME'. HEY! MISSY! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH EFFORT I PUT INTO TO GET AN AFFTERNOON OFF??
Next time?? Well, you try it.
2. Dear mum managed to make some progress on Horatio's toilet training. Now when he want pee/poo he will drags his littl potty to us and saying 'mmh, nnh'. The only problem is he couldn't tell whether he want pee/ poo so sometimes after we go through the effort ripping his trousers and nappies off, only find out he only manage to produce a mere puddle......
3. Still haven't solve the problem what to do when mum is back to Taiwan in October. Gosh....
4. Horatio had Conjunctivitis a week ago and recovered. Lucky.....
5. Doris is having baby shower this weekend.....
6.Right now Horatio hates shoes.
Well, let me put it this way, Horatio hates someone put a pair of shoes on his feet. The only thing he is able to tolerant at the moments are 'wa wa'--socks. Anything alien object that goes onto this feet will suffer the most violent rippage from a toddler.
7. Anyone love their work? I do. I came to my current job by mere luck and absolutely love it. I actually missed my job when I was on maternity leave. But I also love Horatio and I am fully aware that if I am going to have another baby one day I might have to give up my full time job and working part-time instead. Lets just hope it's not arriving anytime soon....not untill Horatio is able to pee and poo himself and tie his own shoe laces anyway....
PICS: Plenty of room to swing a baby!!
