Picture: Horatio trying to adjust mummy's camera lenses fo get a better shot. His temperature already going up a few degree. 12 hours later it shoot straight to 40 Celcius.
1. I had left in the guestbook among varity of my web friends' blog sites, but I thought I might as well officially announce here for others to see. Horatio had a very serious, nasty flu. We went to our web friend's baby shower and it was raining on that particular day. A guest of my friend had a baby girl. She sneezed in front of him. We kind of suspected that's how he got the virus.
At some point, Horatio have a severe high temperature and wasn't coming down after we feed him Baby Parmo. Even after I took him to Whit Cross Emergency Centre and they give him some stuff-from-your-bottom Parmo. We had to go to the Starship Children's Hospital for another stronger dose of Ibprofen (I think that's how you spell it). Of course it managed to get the fever down at the end and the Tonsilitis and coughing disappeared after about 4 days or so. It was the first time Steven and I experience such a deep fear that something might goest wrong with the baby and scare the hell out of our wits just watching Horatio's face gone all red-tomato coz of the high fever. It was also the first time we experience something call Parental Love: the unconditional love.
My mum blame me for letting Horatio going out to the public. But Horatio is so lonely. He haven't had much chance to play with babies at his age, all he meet and play with are ancient people like us. It was just unfortunate that twice I brought him our, twice he got some kind of infections: Conjunctivitis and Tonsilitis (big words).
2. Horatio recovered enough to got his 15 months jab yesterday. He only cried for a few seconds. Much better than last time. My little brave boy.
3. My novel was rejected by the publisher. .......................
But like that will stop me from writing. Writing is my hobby and if others don't approve it that's their problem.
4. My mum had decided to go back to TW for visit from November to January. From November to December there are still no one going to look after Horatio. CRIKEY THIS IS FRUSTRATING!!
