 After discovered him on the BBC drama “Hornblower”, the handsome Walsh actor had officially became my all time drooling list number one (see how much the impact of men in uniform done to me?). 

 There was a saying popularly used in romantic novel that someone ‘as handsome as a Greek statue’. This can be fit perfectly on Ioan. To me there isn’t a single flaw on him.

I even name my son after his character.

 He’s hugely popular in UK and other Commonwealth countries mostly (when they announced they were going to cast someone new for the James Bond movies, I actually secretly hope they would considering Ioan). For some reason in most US films most of his characters are either supporting roles or terribly hideous (such as Fantastic 4). They surely had no idea what they’ve been missing, don’t they?

 Gerard Butler

 He first caught my attention in the small movie called “Dear Frankie”.

To be honest he is not a drooling type. But to me somehow he has certain charming quality in him that attracted me. Perhaps it is his ‘countrymaness’? Well, you wouldn’t be surprise if you spot him down the road on the tractor in the middle of nowhere, wouldn’t you?

 So it came very very surprising indeed when I saw him in “ The Phantom of the Opera”. All I could do was screamed “OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG, is that Jerry (his nickname apparently)? Is that really him who’s actually singing?” Well, you can’t really judge a book by its cover, can’t you? It turned out not only he could sing, he also was a lawyer at one stage before he becomes an actor.

 The Star War story telling scene he did with Christian Bale in “Reign of Fire” was just terribly funny.

 In “PS, I Love You”, his the only one (to me) in the movie that is worth watching (now I wouldn't be surprised if it was really him who was singing in the bar).
