Went to Pakuranga Shopping Mall to pick up Horatio’s glasses. Somehow the fixed glasses became slightly larger. While waiting for them to adjust the frame, I decided to drop by Stevens to buy the gingerbread man cookie cutter I spotted weeks ago.
Only NZD$7, a marvelous cheap new toy to play with.
Immediately took out the ready rolled sweet short pastry sheets that had been sitting in the freezer for ages and ages. After the unsuccessful mini apple pie last time, I kind of left them in there, had no idea what to do with them. Until someone on my Plurk suggested perhaps I could turn them into cookies last week. Now I could make them into good use.
It’s really easy, all you need to do is thaw them, pressed the cookie cutter all over and put the bekkies on the lined baking tray, brushed with egg mixture and put them into the 170 C oven for 20 minutes, viola!
Now I know what bekkie I can prepare for Christmas.
