 Most of my early notice of this French beauty was through magazine here and there (don’t even know the name of the magazine anymore, some of them with the most difficult to read names—in French no doubt, in those days I couldn’t even read English properly, not to mentioned other languages). She had this wildness in her eyes that constantly screaming outwards and wanted to burst out of the frame. She was intriguing, even to a then young girl like me.

 Her movie works were mostly in French (considering my French skill is only at 4 months old infant stage there is no way I could be able to watch them). I only watched one of her limited English movies “The World Is Not Enough”.

 She is now 42 and has two children (13 and 6). Will I be looking this good in my 40s? Oh I hope so.

 When I was around Nan-Yang Street during my honeymooning, I saw a small of cloud gathering at a diner, all eyes raised at 45-degree angle and staring at a small television with utmost concentration. Upon getting a closer look investigating what was on, I was quite surprise they were all watching dear Kylie’s ‘Can't Get You out of My Head’. Somehow something as provocative as her appear on television in somewhere conservative like that was somewhat very odd indeed.

 Yes, like a lot of people (including the former INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence, he not only went out with her for a while, but wrote a song ‘Suicide Blonde’ for her). I thought this petite lady looked dead sexy.

 And this is way before she started wearing these hot shorts (without any leggings). I think it was one of her early music videos ‘I Should Be So Lucky’, though she looked rather ‘girl next door’ at the time.

 Later when I saw her on another less known video ‘Did it again’, my intuition had proven correct. She has the ability to transform her image with ease like Modanna.

 I was utterly surprise when she appeared in my most favourite UK television series Doctor Who (for those of you who’s not leaving in UK, please tell me you had heard of this show. It is the most fascinating Sci-Fi series ever, period. No American television series can compete that) (do I sound geek? Yeah, I think so) 2007Christmas special episode entitled "Voyage of the Damned". They should cast her as more permanent role.
