Steve found something that will absolutely saving us money: A toy library.

They have all sorts of toy avaliable. Although not exactly at the moment kind of toy, more like some good old lego, blocks, jigsaws etc.

It cost NZD$120-NZD$150 (and NZD$70-NZD$95 if you voluntarily doing some work such as counting the pieces of returning toys for them during the weekends, one day each term) to join.  Cheap if you think some toy cost just as much.

We've been join this one since March. Horatio loves it. His interest had shifted from Thomas to Bob the Builder to Lego and now settle at the jigsaw puzzles. He's pretty good at it, can do one by himself without assistance on a second go (some of those are very complex to a 3 year old, we have to tought him through the first time).

The great thing about it is, once he lost interest (which is quite often), we can simply return it and borrow the new lot!
