The bakery in our supermarket had Croissant on 'Special', NZD$3.51 for four big ones, very special.

Remembered saw Nigella did a super easy one on the television a few weeks back (please don't tell me you don't know who Nigella is. She's FAMOUS). Decided to do one. Spend about the same amount of money on puff pastry and some baking chocolate buttons. Rushed home. Like a kid who's looking forward to make some mess.

I remembered when I was in Taiwan. A bakery (the one with two Croissant on the logo? Who can tell me what the name is? It's been a while so I really can't remember the name now) always make fresh Croissant every afternoon. It's very popular, people always queued up for miles to buy them.

Chocolate Croissant

Puff Pastry(4 sheet)                                      1pk

Baking Chocolate Buttons                          1pk

Egg                                                                  1

Cut the Pastry to long triangle. Place several chocolate buttons on the flat end and roll them up. Close both ends and adjust the shape to resemble the horn. Line them up on the baking tray and brush with lightly beaten agg. In the 210 C oven for 15-20 minutes. Viola!

PS. Steven loved it. He almost eat the whole lot. Horatio didn't show much interest, though. Barely toughed them. Heartbraking
