1. After months of assessments, Horatio finally cleared of Autism (the doctor is out of his mind diagnosed that). Yes, he is a bit behind in language development etc, but all bilingual kids are like that, so...

He is now 104 cm (giant!), 18 kg, like an Energizer battery installed toy--terribly active! He still have cold, but since his gromet surgery in August, we are no longer troubled by his ear infections. Thank Goodness.

For some reason only known to himself, he now hate vegies. Need a lot of bully, bribes and threat to get him to eat some. Sometimes he will bite a few if the sauce is good. At this stage the only vegie he will eat is adamame (is that how you spell it?)

We've introduced him Harry Potters, Ice Age, and Pixar cartoons (except WALL.E). Now he likes wands (any stick will do), matchbox cars, small rocks to pretend starting the fire, and Mike (from Monster Inc.).

2. Ambrosia is now three months old (if you guys looked at the meter in the banner). She is now 57cm, 5.5 kg, and no longer needs night feed (feed once before my bedtime at 11 pm or midnight and last until 8 am in the morning). Very guiet compare to Horatio at her age. Hardly cry for nothing. Very flexible when it comes to feeding time. Very tolerable when it comes to Horatio--not even winced when he poke her (unless it hurt of course). Love her to bits, already feel she's growing too fast.

3. Will be a stay at home mum until next April. Thanks to NZ Maternity Leave policy, I can still go back to my old job after this. But kind of toyed with the idea not as it's not a part-time role and the company seemed very reluctant to give me one....

4. Found the Plunket centre in our neighbourhood has a playgroup during the weekday mornings. On Fridays they usually runs the Chinese speaking ones. Nice place to take Horatio and Ambrosia to as Fridays Horatio isn't going to Preschool and it is a bit hard to keep him in the house all day.

Christmas is coming. Time to think about what to give them for the holiday. Part of being a parent to littlies, I suppose...
